Kia ora world. Please bare with me as I try and navigate my way through to becoming a blogger. This is my first attempt at creating anything like a blog. I am both excited and terrified all at the same time.
Next year I will be undertaking my 3rd and final year towards the Diploma in Maori Visual Arts – Toi Paematua at Te Wananaga o Aotearoa. It has been an interesting journey so far but 2013 marks the end of the Toi Paematua 3 year Diploma as the Wananga starts its new degree programme next year. It took a bit of negotiating to ensure the 3rd year course would run in 2013. I decided I wanted to document this hikoi in acknowledgement of the journey that has taken place so far as well as the journey to come (Completing a Degree) I don’t know if anyone else is interested in coming along this journey with me but either way – the hikoi has began!!
